For your information, on January 4, 2013, the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency issued a Public Notice, available at www.ceaa.gc.ca/050/details-eng.cfm?evaluation=80001, announcing the start of a 30-day public comment period on the Comprehensive Study Report of the proposed Randle Reef Sediment Remediation Project in Hamilton Harbour, Ontario. You can obtain an electronic copy of the Comprehensive Study Report from the above noted web link.
Note: This link will also provide access to the very detailed Comprehensive Study Report. While the almost 500 page document is daunting, I would recommend a read of the one page executive summary and the first 20 pages or so of the report to get a feel for the effort being made to improve the bay/lake environment.
