General Meeting Minutes (Unofficial, lack of quorum)
April 25, 2011
Present: Jerry M., Tom C., Paul P., George D., Dagmar M.
1. Financials: TC
- about $9,000 in total sales this year compared to $14,100 a year ago
- 56 members at this time compared to 99 a year ago
- 29 derby tickets sold at this time compared to 68 a year ago
2. Because of the lack of a quorum amongst executive, a general discussion followed:
- in spite of the low sales, we still have a healthy bank balance
- we need a volunteer to man the ramp on Thursday afternoons
- derby ticket sales have been very slow so far
- the pen project needs volunteers to feed the fry: sign up at the ramp
- Kids Day Derby still needs volunteers
- SCG&F members who have OFHA memberships can renew with Dan Andrews
- Host a Vet derby was discussed
