This is a free day but you do have to register the kids and lunch is provided. While it is a bit of a drive this is a great way to transition into the new school year and the fall season. Youth Outdoors Day is a one-of-a-kind annual event designed to introduce kids ages 9-15 to the Great Outdoors through fun activities and interactive learning stations. There are a wide variety of hands-on activities including butterfly banding, falconry demonstrations, archery, fly tying, casting instruction, supervised target shooting, fish identification, bird feeder building, an MNR Canine Unit demonstration and much moreā¦ Details When: Saturday September 13, 2014; 8:30am-4:30pm Where: Guenther/Liddle Centre at the Luther Marsh Wildlife Management Area Cost: Free (registration is required) Lunch will be provided for both parents/guardians and Youth Outdoors Day participants.
