Much of our angling success is dependent on hard working MNRF staff and support from caring volunteers.
If you are available, please plan to assist the MNRF this year, and at the same time get some valuable experience and knowledge. You will find the staff and other volunteers a great team to work with.
I will be co-ordinating car pooling for those members that volunteer. Please email me by Friday September 18th, letting me know if you will take your vehicle and the number of passengers you are willing to take, if any, or if you require transportation. Don't forget to include the date, keeping in mind September 30th is full and there is no collecting on Saturday or Sunday.
The day normally ends early afternoon before the commuter rush.
Below, I am sharing the email I received that details the event.
Plan to go early in the schedule as there have been times when the last couple of days are cancelled if the quota is acheived early.
Cheers,
Jerry

The folks at Normandale Fish Culture station are gearing up for another wild egg collection on the Credit River again this year… And we are looking for hard working Volunteers!!
As most of you are aware John Sager has retired (April 2015), so I will be organizing the collection this year in his place. Mike Duffin site supervisor at Mondelez has also retired, so the new site contact is Anthony Pracek.
The plan is as follows:
On September 23rd we will be moving our trailer, portable toilets, gabion baskets and other equipment to the Mill site at Streetsville.

Day 2- Wed Sept 30th – Egg Collection (Fleming College on site)
Day 3- Thurs Oct 1st – Egg Collection
Day 4 – Fri Oct 2nd – Egg Collection
Week two:
Monday Oct 5th –Oct 9th all collection days
The collection usually take an average of 7-8 days to complete
Fleming college has showed an interest again this year to help out on Wed Sept 30th, 15 students will be on site this day so no extra help will be required from volunteers on this day
The following are a few points regarding this year’s collection....
