Just wanted to say hello. I recently retired and I hope to get out on the water a lot more this year. I have always been a perch and walleye guy on Erie, but looking to expand my knowledge and luck on Lake Ontario. I am looking at the area, thinking that on days I can not get out from Port Burwell on the north shore of Erie, I might be able to get out on the south shore of Lake Ontario. Wind is always a concern as my boat is a older 178 super pro. I have fished Ontario years ago, out of Bronte and Port Credit and I would imagine a lot has changed. If any one would like to share some helpful starting points to the spring fishery here I would appreciate it. Thanks and hope to see you out on the water or at the launch.
