Oh my, the time for our big event is coming up fast. Mark your calendars for May 7...grab the kids, grand kids, nieces, nephew, friends kids,kids you don't know and come down for a great day of fun, food, prizes. May be you will catch the big one!!!
We are getting in our prizes and cash donations each week.
If you know of some one who would like to donate or come down and help out for the day let us know. Never can have too many hands the day of the derby..too many is always good. Here is a list of SPONSOR'S so far either donated cash or prizes.......
Canadian Tire (Welland Ave), Rankin Construction, Sheehan & Rosie Ltd, Peters Tackle, Grimsby Tackle,One day shore derby, Poker club, Bill Ball, Craig Manufacturing Ltd, Aurora Tancock Fin, Serv, Inc., Johnny Rocco's, Murphy's,Marineland, 7-11 stores, Bird Kingdom, Cops and Kids & Canadian Tire,That's Entertainment, Vine Floral, Outdoor Orient, Niagara Trailers, Johnson Outdoors, Erie Tracker, City of St. Catharines,Bass Pro....the Niagara Reg. Police, St. Catharines Fire Truck, Grimsby Auxiliary Marine Rescue Unit, Ministry of Natural Resources will also be around to answer any questions the kids may have about safety and fishing.
So you need to be there on MAY 7...bring a life jacket if you have one or borrow one if you can and you need your own equipment..we have a few library's that lend out fishing equipment for the day. Looking forward to hundreds of smiling faces again this year...sending love to you all....Dagmar
