Today the SCG&F Club celebrates 79 years. While much has changed for the club and the outdoors we all enjoy, the continuity is unmistakably visible over the years. Congratulations to all that made a contribution to the club’s past and future successes.
In the beginning …………………..The Department of Lands and Forests and the St. Catharines and Lincoln County Game and Fish Protective Association stocking 1000 speckled trout .
Yesterday …………………………The Ringwood Fish Culture Station and the St. Catharines Game and Fish Association stocking 100,000 chinook salmon.
Tomorrow …………………………A partnership of The Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ringwood Culture Station and The St. Catharines Game and Fish Association generously supported by the city, like organizations and individuals embark on a progressive venture of pen imprinting Chinook salmon to improve the sport fishery.
