Meeting to be held at the Port Dalhousie Legion 6:30 to 9:00 on Monday, June 27.
Included on the agenda, Daniel Jang and Tom Stanton, two Lake Ontario Unit Fisheries Technicians involved in the angler creel, will provide information to assist both novice and experienced anglers with correctly identifying their catch. Their experiences have shown there continues to be difficulty distinguishing Chinook Salmon vs Coho Salmon vs Rainbow Trout, and Atlantic Salmon vs Brown Trout.
Also they will talk about how to take a good photo to help identify a fish. The MNRF get a lot of photos sent to them and see plenty posted on the internet, but identification is difficult when key features are not shown.
Everyone welcome.
