A group of eleven volunteers made the trip to Ringwood today in support of our source of fry for the new Pen Imprinting project to be launched in Port Dalhousie this spring.
A ride in a big van to clip small fish was .....
educational, providing insight into the process of fry marking,
and humbling as one came to understand the effort of other volunteers.
Fern boasted he was able to imprint a few to his personal scent. I think his secret was to spit on them in a effort to enhance his catch rate when they matured. ;D ;D ;D
