Greetings Everyone,
First off on Sat March 25 we are planning to put in the launch ramp docks at Port Dalhousie and have a property clean up. We can use as many volunteers to help out as possible. We can sign sheets for students needing community service hours as well. We will be meeting at 730am and should be finished around 10am if all goes well. Coffee and water will be provided.
Also we welcome everyone to come out to our March General meeting on Mon March 27 at 7pm at the Port Dalhousie Legion (57 Lakeport Rd, St Catharines) We will briefly discuss club business and upcoming events and we are very excited to have Greg Amiel (www.fishing4tails.com ) and Gavin Cameron ( www.getbit.ca ) as our guest speakers. They are both very accomplished and well respected Salmon anglers who run guiding businesses and compete in various tournaments. They will share how they track and follow the salmon migration on Lake Ontario throughout the season using smaller boats then most charters and how they run their typical 4 and 6 rod spreads. As well we will be selling memberships, launch ramp passes and Spring Salmon Derby tickets. Everyone who purchases their derby ticket by Monday evening will be elegible for our Early bird draw for a Scotty 2116 High Performance Electric Downrigger. There will also be a 50/50 and additional draw prizes. Doors open at 630pm
