Our first night we tied a Black Ghost variant with a marabou wing in place of the standard feather wing, and sans the optional jungle cock eye.
This Thursday the pattern will be the popular Zonker. Be sure to bring:
- streamer hooks, size 4 to 10, in relation to target species
- mylar tubing, in a size to complement hook size, and colour of preference (silver, gold, pearl, or custom)
- rabbit strip (white, black, yellow, chartreuse) note: small hooks will require thin strips
- hackle feathers, optional for a false hackle (red or matching the rabbit strip)
- plan on weighting your fly for moving or deep water presentations
