Kids day had to be cancelled due to the high-water levels.
There will be a member BBQ on August 26th. more details to follow on emails etc.
Strait Line Anglers will be having a derby in July in support of Tackle Share, contact Grimsby Tackle for more details
No further info on the new washrooms was available because Dave Morrison was not available.

Attended meeting regarding Lincoln Fabrics, the developer wants heritage designation for building, plans to convert into condos and add a few floors; developer came out to our fry release and was interested in our project
There will be a garage sale at his house July 15 to support Tackle Share.
Fish pens will be coming out this week; we have our license for 5 more years
Jelly fish in Muskoka area, Asian carp, Lake Gibson (sterile) and sturgeon still coming into the harbour.
A presentation by the GAMRU Marine Rescue which is a part of the rescue team for Lake Ontario. They operate under the umbrella of the Canadian Coast Guard. It was very informative as to their participation. Very few if any attendees knew that star 16 is the proper number to call if in distress on the water it is a direct link to search and rescue, also if you have a marine radio on your boat it is required by law to have it on and monitor ch.16, portable radios included.
