Commencing this week our club will be supporting the NYSDEC Coho Head Collection study that will assist them and the MNRF with stocking decisions.
Anglers are asked to donate heads from the fish they plan to harvest. We are not encouraging you to keep/kill more fish.
Anglers are expected to clean their catch at the lake or home, and donate the heads at their convenience. We are not encouraging anglers to clean fish at the collection points. Be certain to record the length of your catch and identify whether the adipose was clipped or not. Full details of the program are posted at each collection point, in addition to an angler form and sampling bags.
