CARL GAME, peacefully, after a lengthy illness at home surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the age 70 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Bev for over 48 years. Loving 'Dad' of Carla Frechette (Steve), Shawn (Bobbi-Jo). Much loved 'Grandpa' of Stephanie, and Brian Frechette, McKayla, and Kyle Marrs. Carl is survived by his brother Frank (Lynn), his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Browning (late Tony), Janet Kelly (Bruce), Pat Speck (Dave), his brothers-in-law Wayne Baker (Sharon), and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Carl was predeceased by his parents Frank and Shirley Game, his sister Karen, brother and sister-in-law Denis (Marsha) Baker, and his best friend Harry as they are now planning the next race. He will sadly be missed by his Fishing Buddy Dave Hill, his good friend Mark Elliott, and his cousin Kyle Saxton for all the visits with Carl. Carl worked at ES Fox as a welder until his retirement in 2012. He enjoyed the dirt track racing, many hunting and fishing trips with friends. The family would like to express a special 'Thanks' to Dr. Ramohan, Dr. Nagai, Dr. Taylor, Dr. Torigian, Dr. Davis, Dr. Adams, Dr. Shaikh for the many years of excellent care. Friends are invited to PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 2000 Merrittville Hwy, Thorold, 905-892-1699, on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. A celebration of Carl's life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, June, 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
