Well I hit the Upper Niagara River today in a kayak. Crazy current but I easilly managed to stay in Thompson's Hole. Lots of moss floating around.
After I figured out it was safe to fish there from a kayak, I headed back to my truck to get the rod. Had a silly set up with about 10 minutes of safe boating light left and I got nothing. Saw lots of carp.
I'll try again tomorrow but I'll go prepared to fish. Walleye should be in pretty thick now. Wish me luck.
