Dan Andrews arranged for MNR enforcement officers, Ron Arnold and Randy Tippin, to bring us up to date at our October meeting on what was happening with fish and wildlife enforcement. For those that attended it was an informative and entertaining evening of discussion. If you walked away with anything, it was the emphasis on using the TIPS line to report suspicious activity or infractions. All reports are reviewed regularly and play a major part in prioritizing the resources of the MNR. To view some of the higher profile cases go to www.ocoa.ca/ REMEMBER 1-877-TIPS-MNR (847-7667)

I want to report an MNR violation that occured Monday, November 16th, around 1:30pm. A gentleman with a salt and pepper beard and a black and white hat with a fish on the front ( not sure of the company, but it looks like a barracuda), snagged a 10 to 12 pound brown trout in the back and proceeded to milk it of eggs once on shore. The inncident occured just beside the game and fish clubhouse, next to the large willow tree.

Call the TIPS line to report violations. 1-877-TIPS-MNR (847-7667)
Telling us on the thread will not generate any follow-up as third party reports are hearsay and lack the credibility of a true witness.
