As the seasons bring a close the open water fishery many anglers start preparing for the following year. Within these ranks are the low profile fly fisherman. In the past two years I have met many enthusiastic individuals that devote various amounts of time to the sport. I would like to take the opportunity to bring this specialized group of anglers together to share experiences, do some fly tying and provide encouragement to others to partake of a unique angling method. We would meet at the St. Catharines Game and Fish clubhouse, 61 Lighthouse Road some time after dinner. If you are interested, experienced or not, please send me a PM providing a list of preferred evenings. At the initial meeting we can determine the best time and frequency. The sessions would be informal with an effort to attract experienced casters and fly tyers to instruct periodically. If you reply, you will hear from me directly by November 15th regarding the status of a get together.

This sounds like a fun thing to do. Perhaps a chance to learn where the local hot spots are and what works most of the time. Tying is also fun, since you never know what any given fly will catch. Any evening is good for me as long as the weather permits Roly Davis
