Finally got a goose

Well I finally got my first goose but it wasn't easy. This picture was taken with a cell phone because I don't bring the camera hunting.
This goose didn't raise with the rest of the flock. I believe it was already hurt. I really need to be taught how to shoot
I ended up with one for allot of paddling but we will be adding goose to our dinner tonight. I'll be on the upper again tomorrow with BB shot because lets just say I wasted more than one shell on this bird.

My question is; is BB too much to use on puddle ducks? I don't want to bring 2 different size shells for duck and goose in a kayak. Is here a happy medium? I was not happy with the results of what I was using.

I found this one particularly interesting. As a kid hunting in northern Ontario I usually shot #7 for grouse and rabbits. Most adults I hunted with didn't understand why my game wasn't all shot up. I guess this article explains the results.
