Things are beginning to happen for the good of the fishery due to a lot of public pressure. At one point it seemed we were going to be stonewalled. I can report that the NPCA has gotten sediment barriers put up to stop the flow of silt into the pond.
One voice is but a grain of sand. It gets it your eye and is a minor irritation, then it is gone. As part of a concerned group of anglers, numbering in the thousands, you are part of a sandstorm that cannot be ignored.

Nice going Bruce. I know a number of the club members responded to your alarm to join the voices of others. It is good to know we at least have their attention.

Of note to club members. For those wondering about the value of our OFAH affiliation. The OFAH has taken a keen interest in the matter by adding the weight of their voices, and are monitoring the progress of the different agencies in restoring the area.

It makes me cringe everytime I see what they did to this shoreline ! I will be watching to see how much our government really cares about the fisheries and environment . There are other avenues we can use if we need to make a lot more noise ........lets hope they do a good job restoring the SHORE LINE !
