Great job Paul! You certainly captured the spirit of the event.
Congratulations to Dagmar and her army of regulars that make this derby such a success each and every year.
Thank you to all of the sponsors and donations that support the event, making such cheerful youthful memories possible.
Great to see many of the participants wearing PFDs along with huge smiles.

Wow! What a beautiful sight. Great job you guys. It is really nice to see the smiles of the future. If we could only take that glow and add it to a lure, we could be set for the big Salmon.

Great pictures Paul. I only got a few but here they are. It was a great day and the nice little mid day storm broke it up and added excitement. It was great to see some kids stick it out and enjoy fishing in the downpour. A variety of fish as usual from logperch to alewife and brown trout and even a mud puppy. Some were excited to see the busy port D beaver and very few kids did not catch at least a goby. There were many more fish caught this year than last.  Click the pic for a slide show. |

I am trying to confirm the 2011 date for the kids fishing derby April 30th or May 7th (its for the 2011 St. Catharines City Guide/Web events)
