My daughter and I fished from 6:30 - 10:00 this morn. She was hoping to land her 1st Salmon but no such luck. We fished from just east of Weller to just east of 4 mile from 110' - 210'. Deep rods had meat and fly and shallow rods had NK and meat. Marked a few fish around 180' of water but mostly bait on the bottom. Went 1 for 2 on the bows. One on each of the rods. The bow she lost spit the hook in one of his many flying attempts. Guess she will have to wait for the Salmon to make their return to our area to get her wish. So we get back to port and she looks at the derby board. She says, "Dad, there are only two spots taken on the Brown Trout derby category. Next week, I want to get me one of them, I have never seen a Brown Trout". So I guess next week, out come the boards and mast for them beach Browns.
T'il next week, Rob & Dyan!

Good luck targeting the brownies. Sounds like you have a keen fishing partner.
