Fished 7 in the morn to 6 @ nite. Went 5/8 on salmon, best was 20.12 lbs. Had a half dozen other hits. Finally found green water and an upwelling in the thermocline. Stayed away from the bows on top and went for the salmon 100+ft in 220'. All fish caught on meat. Morning bite was good then nothing until late afternoon. Lost one big salmon, ran and spit the hook around 500'. Expensive afternoon, lost 400' of wire, dipsey, spinny and rig....OUCH!
Until next week, Rob!

Way to stick it out Rob! Certainly was a hot one on the water. I watched you pick at a few of those fish early in the day.
I tried the deeper presentations in the morning with little for my efforts then gradually moved to the 150 to 100 water.
Had a couple of hits and misses on the dipsey and went 6 for 7 on hookups. All small fish with one King 11lbs, four of which had an adipose fin clip. Green Dolphin or a variation of, were the spoons that worked for me. SD and flies, and even a 10 inch SD with a twinkie rig and Rocket did not draw a strike.
Good luck in the last week of the Spring Derby.
