12. PP on behalf of DanA:
- Dan is meeting with someone who can advise us on how to set up an Interac account on our web site. It is an alternative to PayPal. Interac allows people to charge things we offer to their credit card. An Interac account is associated with a phone number we set up. If someone charges a ramp pass or membership to their card using our Interac, we could then mail that to them. If anyone knows the system, please call Dan.
- any members who would like an OFHA membership should call Dan. 3 memberships are due for renewal in Dec.
13. DagmarM.:
- proposed either Nov. 29 or Dec. 6 as possible dates for the Christmas Pot Luck dinner. The vote was for Dec. 6, 2010. Call Dagmar with your proposed contribution to ensure we don’t have too much of any 1 item.
14. DG:
- we had complaints regarding our daily ramp charges; after the increase in July to $12, some volunteers were still charging $10. Our ramp charges must always be consistent at the increased amount of $12.
- David Allen has donated a proper VHF antennae and stand and Cogeco will erect it
- the derby committee had problems this year agreeing on the interpretation of the published rules and had several arguments in public; this needs to be fixed.
15. Next Meeting: Nov. 22, 2010
Meeting adjourned.
