Hey guys I was just reading on NFN that Bowen is hoping someone will run his annual ice fishing derby on Martindale Pond/Rene Park. This sounds like something the SCGF Executive might want to look into. It's a charity event for Heart and Stroke held in the name of Bradley Perzul who died during a heart surgery. He was also a winner in the Lake Trout division of our derby.
If anyone would like to run this derby it would help maintain a level of participation within our angling community in the region. Please contact Bowen Sandercock or add to the thread where it was organized last year: www.niagarafishing.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=18681
Even if you would like to organize this yourself please be sure to let the guys at NFN know to avoid duplication.
