Doug Gauthier, president of the St. Catharines Game and Fish Association, passed away Monday morning. In keeping with prior arrangements, there will not be any visitation and Doug will be cremated.
At 11:00am Friday February 11th there will be a celebration of Doug's life at the Faith Lutheran Church, 31 Agar Street, St. Catharines

Early morning, Sun is just starting to peak over the horizon. There is an air of excitement as the morning mist rises at the SCGFA clubhouse. Doug is faithfully there as you get ready to tackle the day. I can hear the clear, crisp, firm greeting of "Mr. Chamberlain" over all the morning chatter and sailboat bells. Doug knows everyone, like part of his family. If you are lucky enough, he shares his fishing experiences with you.
