I have a few people interested in a fly tying info session and started asking around about a fly tying seminar for beginners. Cliff Plummer and other locals have expressed some interest in co operating with the G&F to put on a show either in Niagara Falls or in St Catharines. I will be approaching Joe Montgomery & Italo Labigman and other local interesting people to see if they would also like to participate in teaching. Nothing has been set up as of yet but the general idea of a seminar would be to teach you the angler, how to design and tie your own fly's. An entry fee would be designed to cover the cost of the hall, and a fly tying package for each participant including a vice, thread, glue and other materials. The package would also include advertising to help us keep the price down. The goal that will not be sought, is a profit for the club. What I am asking for here is an acknowledgment of interest from the public (you). If you would like to attend such a seminar, email the club ( scgameandfish@gmail.com )and let us know what an ideal price to learn an art would be and what time of year would a seminar be best for you and where (City) do you prefer it to be held. Please leave a phone number so if we do go forward, we can let you know ASAP. Feel free to reply to this post or add to our " Feedback" section. Thank you Dan Andrews
