First trip out to the Big 'O' today with Bigfoot and Jerry. We went 10/11 with one fish being a rainbow and the rest were Salmon. Again we forgot to look at the adipose fin on the fish. Most of the salmon were between 14 - 17 lbs. All lures, plugs and bait were working. The only pole that didn't take a fish was a plug on a planer board. When we pulled lines, we found a Lamprey drowned on one of the hooks on the lure. My guess is the Salmon just won't hit a Lamprey tipped plug at all, so don't try this set-up!
