Many have traditionally posted their fishing effort reports on other boards, raising the question with new-comers to our board, "Where are the fishing reports?" I hope many reconsider sharing their experiences right here with other anglers, especially their fellow club members. One or more regular contributors will be rewarded for their contribution. As a general bit of information, angling on the south shore out of Port Dalhousie has been good to fantastic. Last week finished on a positive note with Friday being measurably better than Saturday when the front moved in. Plenty of teenage Kings with a mix of some over twenty. The Kings have followed the bait into classic shallow depths, with the "hot spots" ranging from Jordan to the line depending on water temps and wind. All signs indicate the Annual SCG&F Derby will start Saturday with a flurry of activity and gear testing Kings.
Tight lines and always play safe on the water!

I'm all for it as well and also need to get out there but it's coming very soon ;D I'd like to see the reports section closed much like the minutes and newsletters until you log on. If someone wants to see them bad enough they can register and then maybe just maybe contribute and click a few sponser links as well

Bad to the bone and too old to change. Or is that too stubborn?

There is a lot of benefits to this. Other websites have even gone a few steps further than this. Hey, anyone from the Club entering the inaugural fishing tournament coming up on Saturday April 28th, 2012 out of Port Dalhousie? Well, if you do enter, all my next few reports will be about 100' deeper and 30 degrees more to the east than reported. 'chuckles'

Fishing for lakers was amazing today.
We went out at 10.30 am and caught our first fish at 10.40am on a silver jet diver with a watermelon flasher and a white fly. This was before we put any downriggers down. The next five hours we went 12 for 15 with numerous knockoffs. 11 lakers and one small coho. lakers ranged from 6 to 1 fish that had to be close to 20 no kidding. Your destination would be straight out of Jordan in 90 to 100 feet.Look for the baitfish and scores of hooks. Range 60 feet to bottom on silver green and black silver spoons leading the pack with a watermelon getting a honurable mention.Food for thought? This was our first excursion with some manual scotty's and man o man we are hooked.Hope this helps.tight lines.
