Set lines just before 7 a.m. in 50 - 60' of water near 4 mile. After 45 mins of no fish, just a few light taps, we headed out to the drop and 180' of water. Found marks and bait. That is when the action started. Probably boated 10 big salmon, a few shakers, dropped a couple smaller salmon and had about a dozen hits with no hook-ups. One salmon tripped the dipsy and the line went silent. 15 secs later he whacked it again as it rose in the water column. The salmon that Don is holding took the leadcore and its backing right to the end of the spool. Thank you to all the boats that let us make a U-Turn.
