Its not often that i am able to get out as often as I did the last 10 days. Had the pleasure of taking out many friends who dont have the opportunity to fish Lake O often and they all had a hoot.
In a nutshell lots of fish were caught but few mature kings. I fished from 4 mile (NOTL) to the Grimsby bouy.
A couple of the better kings came high off rigger/spoon sets, but the majority took Lymans behind a wire diver, and a couple favourite spinny/Atommik combos. (Green/black/glow patterns, b-fly/greeen dolphin and the green crush spinny/skeiner fly) and yes the majority of them came well past 100 down on the riggers, and 200+' out on 1.5 wire divers.
Its great to see how healthy the fishery seems to be, especially the coho population.
