I was to be in St.Catharine's at 6pm to watch my niece's soccer game so naturally I brought the boat for an evening troll. Tonight I had my whole family Amy, Ethan and Christian. We didn't get Lines in the water until about 7:30 and low and behold we hooked our first king at 7:35. This fish annihilated the spinny/fly on the wire, could be the best rip I've ever seen on a rod. That fish didn't enter the boat until 8:05. It ended up being an 18 pounder foul hooked by the head but it was some major excitement to begin the night. between 8:05 and 8:45 we would go on to boat 2 more nice teenage kings, a skippy and 3 rainbows. we lost 2 bows and lost 2 more decent kings. our fish where in about 105-120fow in my favorite summer spot. we could only run a 4 rod spread. All the kings hit spinny/fly's on the wires and all the rainbows came on various super slims on the downriggers. we where not marking many fish or much bait but they where there.
