We made it over to the SLA Catch the Fry tourney on Saturday. As usual a great time was had. We started slow, and I had bad thoughts but my partner stayed positive. We landed five, weighed three, all but one were clipped. The fry program is working in our opinion. Best water for us was straight out of Port D, in 60-70 fow, riggers at 35 and 45, wires out 90 and 120 feet. Spoons were a little better than flasher and flys. We sorted through many rainbows as well. An excellent fishery out there. A big thanks to the SLA and SCGF volunteers for the job they did and the net pen volunteers also. A shot of Team Ethan and their great cooler

Thats a great shot. Ethan will love it. Some good fishing out there yesterday we went 12 for 19 on Matures but the problem was the ones we got in the boat where cookie cutter 18 pounders. we lost a couple in the 23 range which would have really helped our box but we managed to squeak one 26.14 in the boat. Great tourney with a great group of guys. can't wait until next years. Now it's back to the drawing board for next weekends KOTL.
Oh a big congratulations to Capt. Bill Ball and Robert Chamberlain on a big win they pre fished this one hard and it paid off. Great work guys.
