1st Session for 2012/2013

Great to see some of the regular faces from the previous tying sessions, with the addition of another sage, Ray Thompson.

Ray provided helpful hints on streamer colours and achieving perfect heads. Joe Montgomery directed the group to the advantages of glow materials for those low light periods. His home-made black light box is the perfect tying aid to tying attractive patterns.

Ray and Joe provided an endless recap of fishing experiences as the group got back into tying personal creations.

For October 25th, the tying pattern will be the Zonker.

Last night was my first time out to the meeting, and had a good one! Thx to Ray for showing me how to whip up a good looking streamer! Good to meet you all and we'll see ya next week. Cheers!
