Minutes September 22, 2008
Aside from the executive, only three regular members attended. Discussion suggested the summer break did not keep the first fall meeting foremost in member’s calendars, and a fifth Monday in the month confused those marking the last Monday in the month for club meetings. A suggestion was put forward to have any volunteers still working the ramp call members as a reminder of the next meeting.
The next regular meeting will be October 27, 2008 at 7:30.
Bruce Downs was unable to attend.
Highlights:
Treasurer, Tom Copeland, reported a bank balance of $24,124,80 with outstanding liabilities of $1,700
Kid’s Day fund at $4,504.39 "This significant to facilitate planning in view of current economic situation."
Spring Salmon Derby netted a loss of $4,294.16. "The shortfall was covered by the club’s general funds."
A request was made by Jerry Mitrovich to have a fixed expense forecast up to reopening of the ramp in 2009. This figure will provide a clearer picture of funds available for emergency repairs and potential projects.
