We've moved the board to ease locating related information.

Doesn't seem to be a lot of people who fly fish in the Niagara Area.

There are a surprising number of fly fishers in the area. Unfortunately they tend not to talk up their past time. This became evident a number of years ago when I was making inquiries at Peter's Tackle, intent on starting fly tying evenings to pass the winter season. Joe Penich happened to be visiting Angela at the time. Attempting to scratch the surface and create interest for fly tying and 'bumping' into a champion tyer was karma. Over the past few years I've met quite a number of fly enthusiasts of all skill levels, and there are more out there then you would suspect. Very few are dedicated to solely angling with a fly rod, but there are sufficient numbers to keep our Thursday evenings of fly tying worthwhile. Attend our April meeting and you may make a connection, or try initiating a discussion on the board.
