Well what to say? Fishing has been interesting to the the least the past few weeks... Prefishing for the KOTL AM division yielded little in the way of chinook's, but a 12lb brown and my 1st ever "confirmed" Atlantic were among the hilights that week. In the AM division our team only got one 16lb king during the competition, but it was enough to take 6th place. Up next was last week's annual Reelbuddies Invitational held out of Port Weller. Teamed up again with John M & my pal Ian. Began the day fishing skinny water, but the picture & water colour wasnt there, John suggested a move to the Bar was in order. Good call Captain! For the next 6 hrs we grinded out a 54lb / 4 fish box of kings it held for 1st place. Was good to get the wire divers & flies out again! As well 15% of our entry fees ($130) was set aside for the Port Dalhousie Pen Imprinting Project A few trips since then have been quite lean, small browns, a couple coho & this 20lb laker being the real only bright spot.... It can only get better soon, more to come when there's more to share.... Mark
