John and I ran across the lake for the first time today. Got to the hunting grounds around 5:40am. We found the best picture in 180fow, lots of bait and hooks. We had a slow but steady pic going for most of the morning but it died off around 10:00am for us. We only took 2 shots between 10am and 1 pm. Fish seemed to be scattered all over the place and a lot of boats where moving nets all around us. Meat on the rigger was good down 60-100 and spindoctor/flys on the dipseys where working back 150-190. Our cut bait was pretty crappy today as it kept falling apart so we switched it out for a rocket which took a shot at the end of the day but we missed it. ended up 4 for 8 which was ok considering it was our first kick at the can out that way. we where satisfied. Biggest fish today was 26Lbs and we broke off another monster.
