"Catch The Fry" Salmon Tournament, Sat Aug 24

The Strait Line Anglers Club will be hosting the "Catch the Fry" Salmon Tournament on Sat Aug 24 out of the SCG&FA launch ramp in Port Dalhousie and everyone is welcome to participate!

This tournament is to celebrate the return of the 2010 class of fish from the Port Dalhousie Net Pen project, as well as to recognize the efforts by the St Catharines Game & Fish Association and their various volunteers and partners in this project.

Cost is $40/person, 6 rod limit, 3 fish box (Chinook/Coho only but a minimum of 30"s)

Cash payout for top 3 teams

Also a optional big fish pot $20/boat

Registration at the ramp house 5am-5:45am, 6am blast off,

Pucks must be handed in by 2pm, weigh-in to begin shortly after.

*** Also don't forget that the SCG&FA Fall Salmon Derby is underway and Grimsby Tackle's Summer Saturday Salmon Series derby, be sure to get in on all the action, if you choose to do so, you may enter the same fish

To avoid congestion at the in the ramp lanes on Sat morning, if you need more then 5 minutes to prep your boat before launching, please use the lot across the street so we can have all boats/teams launched & registered by 6am for blast off
