The MNR will be collecting Chinook Salmon eggs at the Streetsville dam on the Credit River in Mississauga on October 1 to 4 and October 7 to 10. Volunteers are welcomed and appreciated by the MNR.
All egg collections start in the morning and usually conclude mid afternoon.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact John Sager by email at at john.sager@ontario.ca and he will fill you on the details and add you to the list of volunteers.
Please note, you will need to contact John if you plan on showing up, you can't simply arrive and expect to help out. John needs to coordinate a list of volunteers for each work day.
I will be attending on Friday October 4th and can accommodate 5 passengers in my van. Email ASAP if you would like to join me, jerry.mitrovich@sympatico.ca Please include your contact number.
