Our youngest fly tyer will be sharing a couple of his favorite patterns with the group this evening. Both are compelling. "I've chosen the patterns I'd like to tie this coming Thursday night and have attached a picture. They're two of my own creations but have been highly effective on everything from perch to largemouth. Both are tied on size 8 or 10 nymph hook. They both consist of mainly common materials with the exception of partridge which i have plenty of to share. I also use golden as well as gray pheasant tippets, peacock herl, fine gold tinsel, natural coloured rabbit strips, and a special type of wet fly hackle (I'm not sure of the species) but any smaller wet fly hackle will do."
