To date the summer weather has been particularly challenging, handicapping everyone’s plans to place in Lake “O” salmon derbies or harvest some tasty “Eyes” from Lake Erie. Despite this, many anglers have had phenomenal success in both size and numbers when the opportunity presented itself. The best is yet to come!
The St. Catharines Game & Fish will hold the annual members summer barbeque on Monday August 18, 2008 from 6:00 to 7:30 followed by presentation of prizes to the winners of the members salmon derby. If you are not contacted to register attendance, you can still do so leaving a message at the club, 905-937-6335, or emailing details to st.catharinesgamefishasso@bellnet.ca by August 15th. Please provide your name, membership number, number of additional family members attending and your telephone number. We will be serving burgers, salads and corn on the cob.
